You have captured wonderful details of the head of this goose. (It really appears to have been applying make-up - a lovely brown eye pencil and a nice lip gloss! No wonder its smiling!)

Maybe next time you are at Stockers you can impress folks with your new T!:-) Whenever that slow boat gets there....I wonder if some still go by boat...Probably not... Stockers looks like a place which is more for daytime use...they would not allow camping eh? Or would it even be safe? Very nicely done. Sharp is the key word here eh?

I loved seeing Necip's wonderful Egyptian Goose and I'm very happy to see another one. A marvelous close-up of the face and the feathers. You've captured the textures of the feathers very well. Excellent colors and shadings and that eye is amazing.

That coincidence that the two publish a photo of the same species of bird. Neither point comparison of the definition of exquisite your photo taken with the mia distance with a zoom little scope (75-300) but I have only this, that the objectives have a very high price.

Hello Joe,
A superb close portrait of an Egyptian Goose, the portrayed head being shown with fine sharpness, colour and from a good standard POV.
This species has become feral in many parts of Europe, including S. Sweden and suggestions are made to eradicate it, otherwise it can reach pest proportions, like the introduced Canada Goose, but I quite like this ugly beauty.

The angle of light really brings out the finer details in the plumage, and the point of view gives a fine profile capture...

We have this Goose in the parks here too and I really like it! It has a beautiful plumage and is very different from other geese. This is an excellent close-up showing beautiful colours and fine sharp details. The blue background goes very well with its browns too!
