I took this picture at Birdworld. This is one of a few wild Grey Herons nesting here. This one is perched on top of a tree waiting to pick up the scraps after the Penguin feeding.
Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea)
It is a common waterbird inhabiting Wetlands and sometime the coast.Length: 90-98cm. Wingspan:175-195cm.
This picture was taken using my Canon 10d and Sigma 70-300mm APO at full stretch.
