Hi Joe,
A great dedication to a great photographer. You did great capturing the quick little creatures. They don't sit still that often. Altough you have some great details in the feathers, the photo does look a bit soft in the focus department. Probably also caused by the choise of a wide aperture. You got an IS lens, so enough room on the shutter to use. You also might want to adjust the levels a bit more, especially in the highlight area. Its a bit grey.
TFS,
Niek

The 'feel' of winter is palpable in this picture of a Blue Tit, Joe.
The snow sticking to the twig, especially the tall pyramid on top, adds great beauty to this lovely composition.
Despite manifest inclement weather, you have manged great clarity in this capture.
Well done and TFS.

Hello Joe,
What a nice close-up for this cute "Mésange" in french.
The "+++" : composition, nice subject and pose, the snow in bonus, POV, sharpness, DOF, neutral BG, exposure...
The "-" : nothing...
Congratulations my friend and thanks for sharing,
Christian

Hi Joey,
First of all: thanks for this great dedication to a great photographer.
You did a great capturing with this quick little creatures. He looks so cold, so cute and fluffy!!! But this is a normal pose in those cold days. Sharp, beautiful natural colors. But they are not so bright. I love the diagonal pose. Thanks for sharing. Greetings and TFS BOB

Hi Joe,
A nice dedication to Howard. Hard for me to believe this is a spring shot! The Blue Tit looks like he's freezing. He looks adorable with that big mound of snow on the top of the stalk.

Hi Joe,
This Blue Tit appears to be the same that later joined your fit club with excellent results. Very good pose and composition with the rare thing here, snow. Details and very sharp and colours are good while I think the conditions could not have the the best. Great work!
TFS
Best wishes

Hello Joe,
Seems like the snow came late this year, hehehe!
But no reason to worry those fellows will cope with worse situations than we see here...
Lovely colours and details in the fluffy plumage!

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for support and advice during my time here!
It has been great and I have learned a lot through the many fine presentations in TrekNature!

Hi Joe
I had a look through your gallery after my last critique and noticed this one with a similar motion blur. I'm guessing that the F/5.6 and 1/800 isn't accurate as it's the same as the other shot and still has blur. Are you sure you have IS turned on correctly? ;)
Other than that, a lovely shot.
Andy
