Hello Glen,
a nice '300' picture of a bumble bee, insects which are not easy objects for photographers: they are busy and hairy and have dark glossy parts.
So, I know that it is not easy to obtani a picture like this one.
Therfore, congratulations for the picture and the '300'.

Now for the picture..The first time pairing of your 180mm Macro and the 1.4 convertor...Im not sure what to say really!!...I will settle on STUNNING in every aspect.

How are you finding the converter with the 180mm?

A nice posting for the occasion,I guess I know this flower as we have these purple tennisballs as well every year in our garden,here they just start to open,have to wait a week or two more for it will attract the insect,anyway yo did a great job,as well a different but nice BG color,

Very nice macro of this bee Nick. The detail seen on this bee is incredible. Very nice depth of field to give us the entire bee and much of the flower. That orange background is interesting, and really sets off the bee. And congratulations on #300.

Congratulations with already your 300th upload. I think your experience of the 300 photos is something most of us share with you. I atleast do.
The photo is a great one, especially the color contrast between the flower and the BG and the fact that the BG color almost matches the color of the bee. Details and light are stunning.
