Amazing shot!! The way the flow of the water and the sky takes the eyes towards the left side of the picture is just stunning! Excellent composition and colours. Thanks for sharing. We get to learn many things from seeing these kind of shots.

Hi Paul, very nice exposure with very excellent depth of field in this 1 second shot. Composition is very good, capturing the algae covered rock in the front left, with the sun tinted sky and beach on the top right. I like the draw on the water with this longer exposure. Colour is great throughout.
Thanks, John

Very nicely composed Paul, love your POV.
Most pleasing effect seen on the water @ one second, combined with those colors from the sky you've picked up there..
Well done!

Hi Paul,
amazing colors! TFS
There is little doubt that you love the water. I have a tremendous fondness of the Northern pacific Coast where I lived for almost 20 years. And you can bet I spent many days shooting film there in Mendocino...The difference between the Mendocino area and south to San Fran and North to Eureka.. as compared to your images of England are quite dramatic. In your landscapes, the waters and sky's, the lichen and moss and such growths on rocks are dominant, while in the Pacific NW the vastness of the ocean is so overbearing that ti seems to dwarf all else. I wish I had the chance to go back some day and try to do this type of imaging in northern California....you are an inspiration Paul!

Hi Paul,
I love the peaceful feeling in this photo. The wide open feel to the composition really brings peace to one's mind.
The movement in the water and the warm colors in the sky add to the feel of the photo.
At first I was a bit in doubt about the line of the rocks. I felt that it was more taking me away from the scenery than into the scenery. But, the longer I looked at the photo the less bothering it felt.
TFS,
Niek

hello paul,
Amazing view on this coast-line. It seems like the ocean would flow down the sandy beach. You also caught a very fine light. Interesting and alarming note.
Thanks so much

Hi Paul, Firstly thanks for mentioning the larger format now allowed as i'd missed that. This composition is good with a wonderful naturalness about it. The low POV and the interesting foreground featured rocks make it a winner. In trhe small version it looked like a tital Bore. TFS. Murray.

Hi Paul,
Beautiful picture with the lovely combimation of colors in the sky. adding more to the picture is the beautiful green in the FG. There's a lot of depth in the picture probably because of the use of the rule of thirds. Also, like Victor pointed out, all the lines like the waves and clouds meet towards the left at an imaginary point.
Cheers!!

Hey Paul,
Tell you what I would like to stand on that edge on a sunny morning or even look at the setting evening sun. This is marvellous..I love the PoV and the doF you have managed, i like the sandy shore that stretches afar and the receding water in motion...the horizon look far away but it also gives me a feeling i can stretch in and touch its end...the sky is a wonderful melange of colours ..of blue and red and orange glow with streaks of the strong white lights marking the space between.
Very well done.
TFS & Cheers
