Scarce Chaser
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is a male Scarce Chaser (libellula fulva) taken on an area of heathland called Town Common near Bournemouth, Dorset. With care I was able to get up very close with my macro lens. There are two other species of Chaser to be found there - Broad-bodied and Four-spotted.

Hi Vinny,
you started with a nice image.
It' a good goo macro with pretty good sharpness, the DOF is a bit shallow but that's how it is with this close-up.
Nice colours and POV (Point Of View)
Well done.
Welcome to TN.

Hi Vinny. Welcome to TN . A good close up to start with. Good detail and natural looking colours.with good use of the light which has given a shine to the large eye. well done TFS.
Nick..
I live in Wimborne.
Bellissima macro, ottimo POV "aggressivo" per una composizione improntata ad una messa a fuoco selettiva, ottima definizione dei dettagli della testa, molto belli i colori e la luce. Complimenti. Ciao Maurizio
