Hello Pekka,

Excellent action shot. Excellent focus. Good light and natural colours. I wonder why such a behaviour. Do you have an explanation? Is it to protect a nest?

Great action shot, Pekka!
A fine capture of an Avocet attacking a Shellduck duckling from the ducklings back, almost as if the Avocet is taking a ride!
Great POV sharpness and composition make this an interesting image and delightful to see.

Great timing to capture this most unusual shot. I love the title - that's just what it looks like. The Shelduck really does look unperturbed by having the Adult on his back. Wonderful details and I love the splashes in the water.

This is a very dramatic shot, Pekka, though you have convinced me that it is not serious!

Although it is a still, it conveys terrific movement through the splashing water and the raised wings!
