Hi Nick,

A beautiful little Chaffinch - nice to know she is healthy. Pose and lighting are excellent. Every feather stands out on her face and plummage. A lovely face and eye with a sweet young expression. Colors are wonderful and she stands out well from the background.

I'm not eggs-pert but this one looks a bit more full framed than most others..As if it is a total mug shot. Certainly clear and definable and the deep background of green gives it some pizazz!

I am a lover of chaffinches male and female as well you know ant this one of yours is superb...Really nice naturally sharp details with nice light set against a lovely Background...What more could anyone ask for!!...Very interesting in your note about the bumble foot...We havent had it here in previous years but we do now.

Have a good day Monday as the weather does look good...Im still umming and Argghhhing about the 300 f2.8 but I think I shall get one in the next few weeks!!

Hi Nick, wonderful sharp clear and "clean" image of this bird. The whole bird is in good focus showing feather details as well as an excellent catch of the eye. The colouration to the feathers is also excellent, the background giving a good contrast for the overall image. very nice !!
