Lovely clear water in the fore ground, I like the way it recedes away, the markings on the sea where the currents flow, very nice image, regards h

Dear Paul
I could recognise this place anytime...infact i think there is some kind of a strange connection that i share with this picture...i have not been regularly visiting TN esp. during the day.
i was here in the morning, and then now i just happened to open the gallery and lo! and behold I get to see the same shot...the Old Harry Rocks (i 'm almost certain!) i was planning to critique long time ago:)
I just love this one for the wonderful DOF that you have managed the dark clouds in teh hroizon and the "grey" mood. The very fact that you ventured down the dangerous stretch just to share this view with your friends here is admirable....i would also mention that it was Horia's shot from another angle that gave me the sense of the heights that you went on to..
Paul, Thanks for the adventure and for sharing this...I hope i am the first one to critique this:)
Cheers

This looks like the climax of one of those Hindi movies!I wouldn't like to get caught here! But it's a beautiful landscape, Paul...And I do wonder why dorset has such extreme landscape!
Very well done, friend!

I have actually had dreams of such things as this...and I am both afraid of heights and also of water..I do not swim well..so this to me is definitely a scary image...also has this feeling of infinity to it...yet we can see the end, there is this notion that perhaps something else lay beyond!?

Did i mention that i hate your ulta wide lens? :)))
I have a totally similar shot that i actually thought looked ok...until i saw this one :))
Hi Paul
I remember this moment perfectly and completly undertand why you wouldn't go any farther :)
Excellent vertical composition here and great use of the path as a leading line. The other big rock - parallel to your camera - looks wonderful, too and shows the small door from the bottom well.
The clouds on the other hand are simply fantastic - your lens is really great and that and creates that surreal effect only retained by the human eye and the ultra wide lenses.
Splendid stuff, mate!
BRAVO and TFS

WOW!! What a curious and beautiful formation!! The POV is really astonishing and it almost invites you to go on and get further if it doesn't make you dizzy. Surely I wouldn't have reached so far as you nevertheless.
Excellent shot and wonderful composition.
Thank you very much for it.
Best regards

This is amazing, Paul, the coastline of England has always intrigued and fascinated me... mostly when I once read Victor Hugo's description of a boat sinking along the coast of UK. Ouf! ANd this picture is so beautiful and interesting with this very original pov, the rock straight accross the frame! Superb shot with a lot of atmosphere, congratulations, a jewel! I love the very low clouds.

Man, you sure do find the subjects for that lens! The only thing that is bothers me a bit is that the tip of Old Harry is almost exactly even with the horizon line. Could you have gotten any lower to take the shot??

Hlelo Paul,
This is an interesting capture of this spectacular cliff leading out to see! WHat a splendid point of view with excellent depth and the cloudy sky with the strip of light at the horizon makes this a really brilliant shot!

Hello Paul,
This can really be "Lands End" Paul. A beautiful place to be there and to walk over till the end (-: A very sharp photo with a lot of fine details. For instance the hole in the rock almost at the end. Wonderful. Clear water, nice sky with dramatic (no rain) clouds. Perfect seaview at that day.
Thanks for sharing. Have a nice day and TFS BOB
