Hi Howard,
I love these wonderful paper like violet petals and i am all the more impressed with the capture when i realise it is an absolute macro shot.

Quite stunning colours and exquisite richness in the texture of the petals.The colors in the composition looks absolutely well saturated.

The flash lighting used is in perfect measure, highlighting th flower just enough for the veiwer to appreciate its beauty.I also love the buds and the soft sepals of those buds that are about to bloom.

Excellent record of the habitat of the plant as well.
