[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Picture of a Damselfly taken by hovering over the top of it as it perched on a grass blade. Wanted to get something different from the profile shots that are all done so well by many others.

Not much else to say about it, handheld as always and was taken in the evening when they aren't so mobile :)

Beware, he's coming for you, and he's looking mean ;-))
Usually, I'd be recommending a higher F-stop to get more DOF, but in this case the DOF seems exactly right for creating the "mood" of the photo.

Hello Matt! This is different, alright, such an unusual shot! He looks like something from Star Wars, love the title! Very mean visage. Great clarity, love the wings, just a really good shot! Well done!

Fantastic use of selective focus. The damselfly seems to be caught mid-air as the blur of the background helps to create a 3D effect. The hint of the wings is wonderful. Well done.
