Hello Nick,
Not only is the quality of this macro superb but the semi dorsal POV in portraying this female Banded Demoiselle is unusual and very effective in showing its features with excellent sharpness. The composition with the OOF natural BG is also great.
These haven't come out with us yet and the weather hasn't been that warm.
Thanks and all the best,
Ivan

Hi Nico,it's impossible to comment the perfection! This is one of the most difficult insects to take, cause the metallic green is terrible for the photographers! Your work is fantastic, the sharpness too is spectacular...see the wings!!!!!My great compliments, have a nice day,LUCIANO

An expertly executed capture from the best possible vantage point Nicholas, the whole "Demoiselle" is in perfect focus against the fuzzy greenery and the illumination superb. TFS this fine composition my friend.
Cheers,
Mehmet

Hello Nick,
What a superb capture of this lovely Damselfly, a Calopteryx virgo though, as it has white pterostigma at the tip of the wings. The metallic green colour is really striking here and the details very sharp. I love the way it is hanging onto the grass! I hope we'll see this species here too soon!
TFS and kind regards, Ulla

Hi Nick.
Awesome close-up. I like all components of photo art. Details of the beautiful damselfly as well a leaf are ultimate, razor sharp. Lights and colours are also cannot be better. Composition is blameless. Bravo, my dear friend. Breathtaking work.
Alexei.

Hallo Nicholas
You are spoiling my eyes with this lovely image. The metallic emerald colour of this Female Banded Demoiselle is truly awesome. Not only is the colour of the body beautiful also the shine captured on the wings. Lovely composition and the pose are just magic. It is almost as if this insect was posing under an umbrella created by the bended leaf. This is really beautiful. The green blurred fern in the background is the ideal backdrop and displays well against the also green of the Demoiselle. It was a immense pleasure to look at this beautiful image, of a subject that I am not so used to see from your lens. Thanks for sharing.
Best regards.
Anna
