[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here's one of my favourite shots of the Snow leopard. Technically not a great shot, parts are over exposed, the framing isn't great....but...just look at that mean face. He's ready to rip into anything that tries to take his rabbit.
I'm sorry for upsetting lovers of fluffy bunnies.
This rabbit was hung from the top of the enclosure, the leopard leapt to pull it down. My shots of the leap aren't very good, as I was more interested in watching this powerful cat in action.

This is my fourth Snow leopard post. The others can be found.

Ahhhhhh poor Thumper, he won't be thumpin' anymore. LOL
Excellent shot and well done on the composition.

Mike

Outch! :-)

Very good wild life shot, Alan! Great BG and colors. The crop is a bit tight in my opinion, I would like to see the whole rabbit. A bit oversharp, but still an impressive catch!

Superb work, well done!

Hmm, looks a tad undercooked for my liking!
An excellent capture, what a face, and look at the size of that paw!
It's a shame you couldn't get the whole body in, but then your aware of that already so I shouldn't really bring it up.
A great post, thanks for sharing.

Hello Alan!
Perfect shot! I love all your cats!

Olá.
Bela foto. Rica em detalhes.
Ao meu ver o seu animal não gostou muita do que está comendo.

Luvly Grubb...
I love pussy's expression - "Don't you dare come near me while I'm eating!"
Well captured Alan, nothing like a little blood and guts to excite us all. Good job, thank you.

Alan, you are one sick puppy putting this on this website! That is one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen, and I did general surgery for two years!!!!

Awesome, my friend!

Alli

It is a very nice shot Alan,
the composition is very nice, the details are very clear, with a good pov, very good job,
gr. Jaap

Great shot Alan!
Pity that the framing isn't a bit better, cause it would have been really excellent shot. So it is almost excellent ;-)
I love the scene, the look of the cat, the mood here.
VERY WELL DONE!

Again wonderful details in the fur Alan, the light is also very nice and the kill is a big bonus. Composition could have been better on this. Very nice work.

Hahaha, this is groase Alan! Fantastic capture. Good pose by the bunny ... eh .. snowleopard. :) Very well exposed and superb details. Well composed also. I have one tiny nit; it would have been great to have the bunny fully in the frame. Well done & TFS!

Regards,
Pieter

Great shot Alan, I like em' juicy!! ;-)) I like the expression as this leopard seems to be thoroughly enjoying his bunny snack-time! You may turn off a few bunny lovers but this is the way it is..TFS!

A gruesome shot but well worth posting, Alan. Very sharp, although there is some noise in the background, is that caused by sharpening?
There have been many fine posts in the last day!

Il ne faut pas penser lui prendre sa proie, très intimidant.

Hello Alan!
Wonderful shot.Details, sharpness and composition are great.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Alan

Did someone say 'run, rabbit, run'..... oops, too late! Not much blood and guts at all. I thought we were going to see a masacre. Good 'I mean business' expression. Technically an awesome shot. Nice work. Thanks.
