Yes, he does look to be posing, beautifully!
He obviously likes the limelight!

This is a bird that I have never seen in the wild.
I can't help but notice how closely his back-plummage resembles that of a house sparrow. You really have captured the details of his plummage well.
A great moment that he has food in his beak, too!

Hi Joe. With the converter that makes a 600mm lens . You have still taken a fine shot with good detail and natural colours. We can see all of the feather markings. Well done TFS.

An amazingly good shot with teh 2X on, did you use a tripod. I think you were lucky to get this close. Plumage detail and sharpness is exceptional. Perfect composition and OOF background. Great work.
