Down at the wetland centre in Arundel there where more dragonflys for waiting for the camera. Well caught this one having a rest while waiting for the lovely Kingfishers to come in front of my lens, no luck though so this will just have to be my addition to the dragonfly that I have already. Only thing changes here was auto colour correction otherwise as seen. Hope you like it.

In case you want to know it is an overmature female common darter. Her wings look in very good condition. Good detail and focus on the dragon but the composition loses out a little from the dark stalks and shadow. Good effort and unlucky with the Kingfisher!
Demetrio, Agree with Paul that you have good detail/focus but the comp. is lacking for the reasons stated. Haven't shot but one dragon myself & it didn't turn out well.. So do you have to sneak-up on them from the rear! ;-)
Demetrio, very pleasing capture you have here. The shadow at the top and the branch under the wing is a bit disturbing. But still a nice capture.
Hello Demetrio,
I missed this wonderful shot, you made a pretty shot of this dragonfly. The wings and their shadow are marvelous, sharpness is very good, also the colours. I love dragonfies, also have a few here, they are so interesting and pretty, thank you very much, bye
