[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A stroll around the garden produced this image of a hoverfly but, as per usual with these insects, I'm not sure of it's true identity. I'm assuming it's not a bee!

Anyway, it looked like it was resting with it's arms folded!

Adusted saturation, cropped slightly, resized and put through NeatImage.

nice one Vicky,
good composition, I think that you must try an extern flash on your camera. I think that shot's like this one can be done better with a fill flash, and then I mean the hooverfly his face, try it, farther good job,

The colors are excellent and the light is great.
The back of the bee is a bit hot and the face are a bit OOF...
But the BG is great!

Very good work. It is not a bee, indeed, but a Hoverfly, Eristalis sp. Tough to go further from a single photo. Perhaps Eristalis nemorum or jugorum. A male in any case.
