Great image bill and with nice contrast and sharpness. You could have placed the heron and the sign perhaps a little more to the right to make the image more dynamic. Very nice shot though!

Bonjour Bill, wellcome to TN. Your first shot is original, I agree with Mike about the position of bird. Any way good work and congratulations, Didier.

Welcome to TN: - I really like the picture and have a bit of a play with th image. I have posted a workshop for you where I have recropped the image and taken out some of the noise/white specks - I'm not sure what they were originally - maybe foam(?), but I think they are detracting from the image. Otherwise it is a really nice first posting.

A very good first performance, Bill.
Nice composition and point of view.

In the pleasure to admire your next posts and to read your notes and critics.

Hi Bill,
This is a really good photo with a nice POV and colors. I like the morning fog on the rivier, but then I am sucker for fog. The reflection is just perfect.
TFS,
Niek

HI Bill,

I agree with all of the above comments. I like Emma's workshop...changing the orientation to portrait.
Thanks for sharing, and welcome to TrekNature. Be sure to read and write lots of comments so that people start to recognize your name and look for your photos.
