Having spent the past two weeks doing some DIY im back. The night before I took this shot I witness one of the best sunsets Iv ever seen only problem was I was watching it from my living room window. I decided the next day I would head off down to some of my favorite spots in hope of another.

Well it never really happened on this shot as I enhance the sky with a colored grad filter but the atmosphere and mood is always in this place. The Giants causeway is one of the top tourist attractions in N. Ireland and a visit here would tell why. Il have more to say and more shots to post from this days outing later this week.

Hi Stephen! It's great to have you back again!! I really missed your excellent landscape pictures. Where have you been? This is again a fantastic scene. You are so good at landscapes and I find it hard to belive that you shot this with the kitlens ... :o Great colors and superb composition. The slow shutterspeed and the long dof created an awesome effect. Well done & TFS!

Regards,
Pieter

Hi Stephen,
This is a beautiful view with great POV and colours.
Very good details too.
Excellent work as always

Fabulous picture! Infinite DOF is perfect for this image, and the lighting is fantastic. The rock formation is very captivating. Paul :)

Hi Stephen,
This is another gem of a shot from you. It must have been a good experience getting some tips from Chris Hill.
I think your landscapes/seascapes are all of a very high quality. This is a great view from the magical giants causeway. You use the filters very well.
Stephen, if you ever decide to publish a book of your landscapes, I'll be buying it.
Thanks for posting, Have a great weekend.

Nice landscape Stephen

I know it's more difficult to get wide angles with digital but you bought a lens I'd love.
Great perspective, lighting is splendid. Show me more like this one ;o) TFS

Very nice work again Stephen. It sounds like you had a memorable experience meeting Chris on this one. I know that "disorganized" feeling. It hit hard Friday night in California when I was doing that group photo I spoke of. Thanks for the link.

I don't think you have to worry about that other chap Stephen. I'll bet if he sees this he'll say "wish it was mine" ;)

I would buy this landscape. Period.

Hi Stephen

What can one say aout this shot... Hmmmm PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!! Thanks.

This is stunning work, Stephen. Its wonderful how such a fiery, dramatic sunset can bring such calm and peace, and you've certainly captured it beautifully here in all aspects, including a little motion in the water. Excellent work...

Beautifully taken Stephen.
Love the foreground and the colours in the sky.

Mike

Una fotografia che fa sognare.
Ciao.

Hi Stephen,
Excellent photo, composition, color and detail are very well, thanks for your sharing, well done.

A wonderful landscape pictures!

Although it's a beautiful photo (with such a great location AND a sunset, how could it not be?) It's a little too obvious that the colour has come from a filter rather than the sun. Still a 2-pointer, though!
