Hi Frank,
what a muppet you captured there, very woolly indeed! I would have imagined lots of wool would be good in Scottish weather ...
Would suggest to get rid of the seemingly tilted horizon, e.g. tighter crop or clone out the bit of blue sky on the left.

I like this picture, I dont think the background was meant to ever be a consideration for a complimentary background, the subject here is the alpacha and I think you got a fun picture of this shaggy beast and thats what really matters. Nice shot. Paul :)
