Fly Agaric Mushroom (Amanita muscaria).

Taken earlier this month, I particlarly like them when they are at this stage where they look like red spiky balls!

Our most familiar toadstool. Widespread and common, always associated with birch and found on heaths and in mixed woodland. Red cap is covered with white flecks. Gills white and stem white with a ring. In troops, August­November. Poisonous.

It's an excellent close-up picture!
Focus and DOF are good. I like the soft lighting that give a lot of detail in both shadows and higlights. Color saturation is excellent. I like the color contrast between the green and the red. TFS

Pretty colours, excellent detail and well exposed. Just slightly too centred for my personal taste.
