| This scene was stumbled upon quite accidently while I was following some trails down towards the shore just outside the town of Babbecombe. The most striking feature of this area is the overabundance of copper in the soil, which gives the earth a deep reddish hue. |

Hello Derek,
Very nice capture. Details and composition are wonderful.TFS.

Hi Derek,
This is a nice sharp, well composed image with good saturation. The water is lovely and clear. I know next to nothing about geology but wouldn't oxidzed iron in the soil be red and oxidized copper be more bluish? I just always assumed that red soil was caused by iron.

Hi Derek,
Great colofull photo. The composition is very good, with soem nice leadlines. It would have been nice to seen something more on the right side of the photo, where the coastline and mountainline come together, because thats where the two major leadline focus your eye to. But besides that, good contrast, saturation, DOF.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Derek,
A part of England I know well, a beautiful place. I think Niek has written a good critique, I find myself looking to the right wondering what is there. A nice shot, very good detail and colours throughout and nice rich colours, great work!
Regards,
Adrian
