Great macro, beautiful detail and great colour. I agree with Greg, I like the shallow DOF. I think it works because you've got an almost horizontal POV which prevents the OOF wings from being too distracting. A great shot.

Superb macro on this Four Spotted Chaser. Composition and framing are flawless. Perfect isolation on the twig. The beautiful OOF backround has great seperation which adds excellent sense of depth. The Colors and detail are awesome. Great camera work!

It's quite amazing how hairy they are, the POV shows this well. I like the shallow DOF a lot too, the BG is very clean and the wings not distracting at all. Technically, of course, perfect :-)

Hi Paul,

Nicely captured, full of details, beautiful colors, well done on the composition.
Good concentration on the body as oppose to a full DOF on all parts. That's thinking outside the box which makes the subject that much more interesting and artsy. Cheers.

Paul, I like the image a lot. Perfect sharpness and composition; no distraction at all. I enjoy contrast and vibrant colors too, as well as saturation.

There seems to be another sensor spot on top left; mine is full of these - they're really awful.
