Brown-lipped banded snail - Cepaea nemoralis
The brown-lipped banded snail has a rounded shell that is bright glossy yellow or pink. The shell can be up to 20mm in diameter, with a conical spire and usually with a variable number (maximum five) of distinctive dark spiral bands, although some individuals may be plain yellow or pink. A thick brown lip to the shell usually distinguishes it from the white-lipped banded snail, Cepaea hortensis. The body of the snail is usually dark grey. Banded snails are a favourite food of song thrushes, broken shells being commonly found beside their anvil stones.

Food
Plant feeder on a wide range of fresh vegetation.

Predators
Hedgehog, Jackdaw, Magpie, Mistle thrush, Rook, Slow-worm, Song thrush

Brian looks like he loves your pink flower. I love its expression as it looks into the petals like this. Do snails have expressions? Do they have names? Good one Alan!

Con admiración... Ricardo

Happy Halloween, my British friend!
