[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Back to work now having had last week off, so rather busy again, so delving into the archives I pulled this one out from last December.

This is another of those amazing autumnal/winter skies that pop up every now and again. 7am in the morning it needed a 4 second exposure (mostly becuase I had totally missed the ISO at that time and still had it set to ISO 100...)

The tree, my now very familiar to those who know (of) me, is visible from my study window and is almost a weather forecast of its own. Each morning after leaving the bedroom, my head goes around the study door and peers out of the window at the tree (no curtains - no need). I get up at anywhere between 6am and 7am so get to see most sunrises and have been known to be late for work to catch them on camera. This was one that made me late... but I'm glad.

I have refrained from editting the picture to regain any sharpness, becuase it was misty that morning which has made the tree less clear/more grainy than it usually is in these pictures. And following a few requests, the 'my Trees' theme is now solely dedicated to this tree.... so you can have a peep at the tree through out the year...

Hi Emma,
Its your tree. Have you ever thought about what you will do with the tree if you move to a different city/country?
Just love the difference in colors between the bottom and top part of the sky. I think I might need to go for a pure photo as well, just to see what it looks like without my normal adjustments.

I think we've seen this tree with every sort of color combination and weather etc. It is always effective. I think I like the colors in this one the best. It's really pretty.

I was drawn to this out of envy! I wanted to do some foggy morning shooting last week and couldn't because I had to work! But this shot would put mine to shame anyway.
