[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This goose looked sound asleep until she suddenly stuck her leg out and performed some perfect ballet moves. I believe she is an Egyptian goose. I have posted some more pictures as a workshop of her and her mate for ID purposes

Alopochen aegyptiacus:
Related to the shelduck, this pale brown and grey goose has distinctive dark brown eye-patches and contrasting white wing patches in flight. It was introduced as an ornamental wildfowl species and has escaped into the wild, now successfully breeding in a feral state.

Where does it live?
Lakes and gravel pits with short grass nearby for grazing, and large old trees with nesting holes. Frequents suitable parkland and wet woodland.

Where to see it
Seen frequently on ornamental ponds where it was originally brought. Now can be seen on gravel pits and lowland lakes and wetlands. The North Norfolk coast holds the highest numbers; also in areas like the Norfolk Broads.

What does it eat?
Seeds and grass.

What does it sound like?
Normally silent

Hello Karan

A very apt title.Looks like this goose should be standing next to a bar and mirror. You had a good POV and I like the 3 shot progression idea too. With it's head tucked in like that and it's leg stuck out,I wonder if this is where the expression "Silly Goose" came from.TFS

Hello Karan, the ID is correct...where were these, Bushy Park?

I like the poses, they also do a good line in funny walks and head bobbing with noises.

Good set of three. Well done.

Hello Karan,
beautiful composition, rather amusing, I like the picture of left particularly. One has really the impression that it has only one leg!
Greetings,
Arnaud

Hello karan,
seems you had a wonderful time watching the ballet. Nice picture, very sharp and liked the lighting too. karan, if it is not too much trouble for you, could you please teach me how to fuse two or more frames into one? i started taking photos from last november and knows practically nothing about photography and photoshop.:) it seems you are an expert in this area.i liked your pictures and the framing a lot.
regards, Smitha.
