[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My second attempt at scanning from a print (Epson Stylus CX3200). I cropped a little, added slight soft focus and sharpened, and this is the result! The shot was taken with my Pentax P30.
Put some bread and seeds on my patio and sat and waited.
The dot on his wing is a snowflake!

Yep the robin will always get my vote. I find these little rascals very endearing. Nice side profile and considering its a scan its showing details in the pens. Well done Vicky and welcome to TN.

Hi Vicky, Welcome to TN and it's a nice first post. As it's a scan it's hard to comment on the image quality as I know it can suffer a bit from scanning. Nice composition. Well done.

You can do the same thing under a tree and take shots of birds on branches.

Scans can be very soft and contrasty, so you did very well to get this. Excellent work.
