Just a plain photo of a pyramid orchid and McFly who seems to get in many of my photos!
This poor little plant was one in a sea of green agricultural grassland, which is unfortunately typical these days of British farming landscapes. Natures fight back against all odds. |

Hello Simon,
Nice fairly sharp capture of the Pyramidal Orchid. As far as knew it is extremely rare in the UK. Was this taken in Yorkshire?
Mr McFly is an asset and contributes to the biodiversity!
TFS and best wishes, Ivan
Hello Simon,
beautiful clear, sharp and well composed capture of the Pyramid Orchid, in the cheerfully bright colours of early summer. The visitor is the perfect adder to its vitality.
All the best to you, and to Nature, to fight back against the odds of agro-industry! With thanks for this nice contribution, and best regards,
Peter

Hello Simon,
This is one of my favourite orchids, very rare in Sweden. Here it really seems to be choked by grass but you've manage to get quite a good shot anyway illustrating the species clearly.
TFS and best wishes, Ulla
Ciao Simon, lovely flower, splendid colors, great sharpness, very well done, ciao Silvio
