Ugly or beautiful

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is another shot of some pallard ash trees in Cambridgeshire. This time I left them in colour.
A traditional way of harvesting wood for buildings, fencing and fire wood. It is tree like this that big birds will nest in and the very rare beetle Elater will live in as larvae.
When you cut this high off the ground the cows, sheep and horses can't eat the new growth. |

Simon my friend , BEAUTIFUL!
These trees have character! And history!
You did well to capture this shot and provide the informative note.
The trees look a lot like knotted willows but much more formidable.
I like to see shots like this that inform me about places elsewhere, so TFS! Jay
PS And a belated festive FESTIVUS to *YOU* from Nova Scotia
