LLyn Dinas is a beautiful lake lying in Nantgwynant
below the slopes of Snowdon. It is one of the many
lakes or pools associated with King Arthur.
This lake lies close to the hill fort of Dinas Emrys
the legendery place of the showdown between the failing
tyrant Vortigern and the young boy Ambrosius (Emrys in welsh),who was who was later identified with the Wizard
Merlin. Here, under the still reflections of the dark waters, lies hidden the throne of Britain, sunk beneath
a great stone by Vortigern. This may in part be a memory
of Merlins treasure, which is apparently buried beneath Dinas Emrys,or else in a nearby cave.(information from the book, King Arthurs Britain).Taken on Fuji f700 1/60 F/11. |

Hi Brian
Very good capture and composition...

well done.

Hi Brian,
Nice colorful picture. The POV is good and the composition to with these mountains slopping towards the lake. I just find that you have probably put to much of color saturation and sharpness. The colors are unnatural and we can notice some halo effect on the edges of the mountains. TFS.
PC :)
