[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my busking "coy" swan from the previous upload. No other birds were near him, so he half settled his wings but continued to look for "invaders" he could hassle.

It's not the greatest photo in the world but I particularly like the way his head has just come into the light.

I cropped a bit of open space off the top and sides, ran it through Paint Shop Pro Photo XI to adjust the contrast a bit, using the clarify feature, and then the sharpen tool to pick out a bit of detail around his eye and the few water droplets.

Hi Michele,
Nice sharpness, detail, and DOF. You managed the difficult light & shadow well with good exposure..Good POV and pose as well. I might've moved the swan slightly off-center, with less space right.

Hello Michele,
The merit of this Swan shot is the head emerging from thecomplex of light and shade that you have coped with very well with good sharp presentation except that maybe the swan ought to be a little to the right of centre.
