It's a great pic. The crop is good as it shows feathers and beak in detail. All is very sharp and the colours are nice. Look like quite a character.

Another beautiful picture from you!
This is a terrific postrait! I really like how the head of this goose is perfectly parallel with your lens here!
The details are superbly clear and the colors are all lovely and well saturated.
The shallow DOF does wonders to the BG, the correct exposure is excellent and the simple composition is very effective.

PS1: yes...it does sort of remind me of some species of dynosaurs...one that had a similar looking shape of head...can't really remember the name now, though.
PS2: the eye here isn't exactly the sharpnest point, but you can correct that with a bit of "sharpenning by hand"...should work like a charm :)

Incredible details on this goose.
I have never seen a magpie goose, so thanks for the introduction.
