Hello Peter,
I've been admiring your collection of wren shots on your web site!! They're really brilliant shots considering how shy this bird is, but I notice that you have a hide which explains your success. This one is razor sharp and the colours look so natural and background is very smooth too. Excellent composition too.

Hi Peter,
This is one of the sharpest photos I've seen with the combination of 1.4x + 100-400mm. The body and the technique makes a great difference. Focus, and image quality is great. I liked the eye contact, the lighting,and the composition. Very well done.

A superb picture of this tiny bird,the detail sharpness and colour are all spot on, considering the shot was taken at long telephoto and a 1.4X converter, it is still

This is a big good luck to photography this careful bird! I know! ;) The Wren prefers the dark places. Beautiful capture with nice lighting and colors! Nice BG.

G'day Peter
When I see shots like this its a nice feeling I feel of reminissing my childhood in Pommieland.
Great shot colour sharpness and backgound very nice.
I dont know if its but the bottom right hand side is a little distracting. Beautifull though it is.

Hi Peter,
beautiful pose, that wren looks very lively and alert.
Excellent focussing and well chosen depth of field.
The soft foreground and the neutral background offer a great frame. And I like the very subtle colours.

A fabulous shot from your hide with perfect camera settings and use of remote shutter release, Peter. The sharpness is unbelievable here.
I consider this as one of the finest pictures I have ever seen on TN.

I also have these bird in my garden and they can sing so beautiful. As you said it is difficult to make good photo's of them, but you managed well. Very nice composition and pov. Great details and sharpness and a very nice bg.
