This is a very good in-flight shot, the lighting aab colours are beautiful. The details and exposure are spot on.
The DOF is good as well, the bird standout nicely from the BG.

Hello Monika, this is a fabulous shot of the gull flying. It is amazingly sharp with a lot of visible detail. Good POV, the light is good and colours are very nice.

It is pity that you cannot visit TN more frequently and post more pictures.

You are quite right. Colour tone of evening sunlight is amazing as well as the wonderful pictures scene, elegant pose of this beautiful gull and pictorial cloudy sky. I also like excellent sharpness of the image, its cropping and composition. Your note is very touching. My best wishes and TFS.

Meanwhile, this is indeed a splendid in-flight!
The warm lighting was the key here and you took advantage of it. The BG it resulted in is quite spectacular and it complements the colors of the gull wonderfully.
The details on the subject are nothing less than expected and the pose and DOF are terrific!

Superb in-flight shot of the Gull, very goos composition and POV, the pose is excellent with nice details too, I really like the colour pallet with the cool shades of blue, grey and white and the splash of vivid red from the beak and feet.

Hi Monika, this is a very nice photo. Yes just a plain old seagull but you've captured it elequently. Good timing and a nice composition. Colors are smooth and it does look nice against the blue sky. Good job, thanks.

In my opinion this is'nt a boring image at all because of the wonderful details wich are the shadow of the legs of the gull on the tail feathers, the shape/pose of the bird, detailed feathers and the lovely BG.
Sharpness and exposure are spot on and the warm light is beautiful.

JUst the type of image I like Monika. I like the sharpness and the way you have the gull near the right. Lighting and shadows were perfect on this shot. Clouds also make the back more interesting. TFS

It's been a while since you last posted something on TN and maybe as a treat for the New Year you could spoil us with one of your great shots. Just remember, "See you soon (hopefully)" still hopefully means "see you soon" (chuckle). Anyway, best wishes for 2008 and I hope it will really be a good year for you.

This high flighing gull is just great. A beautiful frozen moment in mid-flight with excellent exposure, DOF, colour, and details.

Beautiful shot! The colours, sharpness and details are excellent. I like the combination of white and sky blue in the morning sun. Good composition too.

I work on quantum phase transition (Phase transitions at 0 kelvin). May I know on which field you are working on?
