Even as a thumbnail its an eyecatching image.What wonderful vibrant colours and how well they compliment each other.The detail of the hopper is also great with even the hairs on it legs quite visible.This is really good work......well done.

You are absolutely right about the flower, it is gaillardia!
It looks as if the grasshopper is taking a bow! Is it acknowledging you superb knowledge, or just well mannered! Whatever, you have captured it with excellent detail, natural colours and composed the shot well!

C'est une image qui saute aux yeux par ses couleurs si vives. Et le sujet est aussi intéressant, je les aime beaucoup ces tettigonias et ils sont si intéressants à observer!

j'ai cru que tu avais laché TN!
c'est une bonne macro de cette grosse sauterelle,colorées et nette.
un peu plus de DOF aurait été bien je pense pour avoir le bout des ailes dans le champ.
