Hi Gert

What a lovely "flashback". You nailed this Black-veined White butterfly. Both the insect and the flower were captured in exquisite and ultra sharp details. As usual the OOF and well removed BG enhances the subjects. I like the little white lights this butterfly got on the tip of its antennae and one can see it was not much disturbed by you moving in for the photo as that proboscis was imbedded deep inside the flower sucking nectar. Excellent exposure control and great colour balance.

Lovely old times :))) (Sony A100, Minolta "beercan" and so on.) Excellent close-up with precise exposure and white shades reproduction. Classic work of legendary lens and skill master. I like pictured scene at whole, lovely rich colours, excellent DOF and perfect sharpness and details of the subject. Well done and TFS.

P.S. I always study your technique of shooting and use various equipment including flash. Now I construct diffuser for my manual macro ring flash for getting less powerful and softer light (if I cannot get -5.0eV flash compensation :))). May be I will tale something interesting.

A lovely vibrantly coloured image of this white.
The composition is well done,I like the diagonal look.
Wonderful illumination,the shot is well exposed with well saturated colours.
The black vein of this butterfly really highlights the detail and texture of the wings.It helps outline it and makes it stand out well from the beautiful BG.
Very good POV and DOF.
The vivid flower adds a nice element to this shot.
