First I will thank all for the nice comments and words of my previous posts.

Today we had a nice spring day with lots of sun, blue sky and around +15c but it was blowing chilly wind. I was out looking for some signs of spring and find a lot of birds but they was not co-operative, instead I looking for some flowers and found a lot coltsfoot but I was more happy for this one,
The Liverleaf, Blåsippa, Hepatica nobilis Schreb, It’s a bit early for this one up here where I live
and I only find one flower and as you can see it’s growing among the leafs from last year.

Blåsippa, Liverleaf, It a very common flower in the south part of Sweden but you can sometimes find it in the north part. It’s the first “wild “flower together with coltsfoot you can see in the spring.
Snowdrops and crocus will be earlier but they are cultivated or had running wild in Sweden.
Liverleaf is blooming from April-May sometimes it starts in March in the south parts of Sweden.

PLS
No points for this, I have given them up like some others. I have turn of the points, so don’t waste your green ones

Hi Gert,

How surprising to see this beautiful flower growing in the midst of the dead leaves. The contrast is magnificent. That flower is gorgeous - I've never seen such vivid colors. Wonderful details and a superb composition.

Hi Gert!

Perfect dof and sharpness, wonderful colors, in a very fine composition! You presented this beautiful flower very nicely to us. And still, although I like the flower very much, what amazed me in this shot is the very live pattern of the leaf that's in focus! TFS!

Best regards,
Andor

Lovely shot of this pretty flower, Gert.
I love the detail in the petals and the dead leaf.
The purple colour stands out really well against its duller surroundings.
Great low-down POV and a decent composition.
Superb light.
Well done Gert!

Joe

What a stunning capture Gert. I love these deep blue petals, and how wonderful to see it peeping up through the fallen leaves from Autumn. Nice and sharp too,
Janice

Hello Gert,

Nice result of your day off (-: The spring is coming in Sweden. Wonderful little flower. Nice colours. Deep blue. The object is razorsharp. Take for instance a look at the hairs on the stem. Very fine details. Some members don't like the leaves and other things around the object, but I like this very much. It's real nature. Greetings. Have a nice day and TFS

Hi Gert.
Amazing really spring by subject close-up picture. First of all it is brilliant lights, colours and texture reproduction. All charming details of the flower, all features of so fine leaf and ground are reflected superbly. Low POV and composition of the picture are spot on. Bravo. Excellent dull of live shot.

Excelente enfoque y profundidad Gert, con gran limpieza en los colores. Buen fondo y natural. El ángulo de disparo creo que puede mejorarse para que ese pétalo no ensombrezca; no por ello deja de ser una excelente composición.

Hallo Gert
Very nice picture with sharp colours. I have just come back from Denmark - i visit my daughter every year. She is married to a Dane and permanently lives in Denmark. My one day that I spent in Sweden was very cold!! This is the first year that I have really seen a lot of birds in Denmark and Sweden. I was very surprised by the variety of birds that we saw. I was in Knutenborg Park in Bandholm for 2 days and was amazed!!

Hi gert another awesome shot
very good colours perfect sharpness
very well done

Hej Gert,
I notice you posted this one the other day - I don't seem to keep up with the stream of fine shots these days! Anyway this is a lovely Blåsippa (lagom utslagen!) very sharply in focus. I like the background of autumn leaves and sharpness and colours are excellent as usual. I gather you have snow up there now, how miserable! Here it's a bit cold today but nice and sunny and plenty of flowers and birds and the odd Nässelfjäril!
Hope the snow goes quickly!
TFS and cheers, Ulla

Hej Gert,
This is how I like to see our blåsippa flower: with just the right colour and pictured against the dead leaves of the forest floor!
Nice sharp and sunny capture of this flower making good use of the spring light from a fine POV.
Pity you now have winter again in Gävle. Here we have typical April weather - sunshine and showers.
Thanks for sharing this beauty,
Hälsningar,
Ivan

Nästa lördag åker vi till Mallorca på en veckas semester och hoppas på lite utdelning!

Hallo Gert
Loot and I have been away for a while to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and in this time I missed out on some lovely photos. I am now trying to catch up when I have the time and came across this beauty of yours. Some time ago I mentioned to you that purple is my most favourite colour. It was when I commented on your image with the title "Light". This is a very beautiful and most special flower posting. The details are so clear and sharp. I especially like the silver hair at stem, the shadow of the flower on the leaf and the brown leaf itself. The brown leaf and the purple of the flower is a lovely combination and fits well together. Nicely done and presented. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day.
Kind regards
Anna

An isolated flower in a status of full bloom...in the middle of nowhere..standing tall and proudly...
very well defined shot, Gert...a really beautiful composition.
Thanks!
Goldy
