I took this picture on saturday at Pig Bush in the New Forest.
Common Name:Bird's-foot-trefoil
Latin Name:(Lotus corniculatus)
Family:Fabaceae
It is a widespread grassland plant found on free draining ground.Plant height can be between 5-20cm. Bird's-foot-trefoil is an important larval food plant of the Common blue butterfly and is a valuable source of nectar and pollen for other insects.
I used Photoshop to crop, increase saturation and contrast, resize and sharpen.
