A fine portrait of the Dingy Skipper (Erynnis tages), second generation: this time not a Pyrgus! Nice sharpness and detail and a fine composition with the OOF natural BG.

In places where it is not entirely brownish, there is a slight glean..some sort of mixed rainbow coloured effect. Nature is wonderful in that regard. There is a part goodness in all things...and here in a way you have given platform for one of those beauties! Very nice Silvio...you did well capturing some of the smaller parts!

Hi Silvio,

You have made a very good photo despite the difficult subject. The even color tones from insects wings makes chalanging taking the image.

A beautiful butterfly with such soft lovely colors. The markings of the wing look like they were painted on. Good details and a nice open-winged pose.
