I saw many of these bugs when I was on holiday in Crete in May this year. You have captured the colours well, good sharp detail too. The background is well blurred to make the subject stand out.

I'm impressed by the quality of the details in your picture. The sharpness is superb, the colours are fantastic, too and it certainly was not easy to set the good lighting with the reflections on the left of the insect. You managed all this very well. From my point of view, the empty space on the right is a little bit too important. Cropping or simply flipping the picture horizontally could help.

Jorobarse que pedazo macrazo y acabo de comprobar que el equipo crece y con grandes resultados por lo que veo.
No se si te comenté que el 100-400 también lo puedes utilizar para macrear, con un anillo de extensión o dos te acorta bastante la distancia de enfoque por lo que a "bichejos" grandes les puedes tirar a placer ya que no se asustan tanto y encima saca unos fondos "super" como dirían los pijos.
Si no los tienes te los recomiendo, pero compra los kenko que valen tres veces menos y son igual, ojo con comprarlos por internete que venden unos que dicen que valen, los venden por 20 euritos, pero al final no valen para nada ya que no tienen los contactos de enfoque y los dan para cámaras eos....
