This fern grows on the steep, cool and shady side of the highest peak of Oberammergau - the Kofel. Beneath high pine a beech trees hardly anything else is able to grow there.

Good autumn mood!
Regards,
Elena

Nice shot Thomas.Makes me feel at home.I can see ferns like these out of every window of my house.
I bet if you looked hard, you'd find lots of other small ferny and mossy type plants. Some of them make excellent macros.
(Is this the same Oberammergau where they have the Passion Play every year,or is that a different place...I thought it was in Austria)

Hi Thomas

Nicely composed shot. Lovely depth of colour. Noice low POV. The white on the left side is a bit distracting, but not much you could do about that. Well done. Thanks.

Hello Thomas!
Wonderful capture.I liked POV,lighting,framing,clear details and composition a lot.TFS...:-)

A very peaceful shot, and looks like our area here, lots of waterfalls and ferns. You have good lighting on the ferns and great colors too.
