[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A new topic from me this time: Mushroom/Fungus.
If someone at TN knows what species this is, plesae tell us.

While walking in a forest near our home I saw this couple against a saturated dark green background. I decided to shoot them with a camera I inherited a few weeks ago from my father.

PP: Crop, levels and saturation

Nice, the stems look yellow-green.

Awesome picture. Those stems look like you can see right through them. Very nice composition. Good Work

With F/3.2 I imagine you were quite far when shooting this, as the DOF is aceptable.
The top looks a bit soft, but I know it is the texture, some fungis have a natural blur factor... that is why I love to shoot in rainy days :-D
This are really bautiful, the colour of the stem is fantastic. Good work.

They look like minarets from mosques. Excellent capture, the lighting is very good and the composition simple and effective. Well done.

A truly beautiful picture Jan. I'm pretty certain these are Panaeolus of some kind, possibly cyanenses. The blue colouring is interesting. If the stems or caps turn blue when bruised, you must pick as many as you can find, put them in a bag,and send them to me...just joking. Its possible that what you have here may be a type of hallucinogenic mushroom. They certainly look very much like some of the species I know of.Look up Panaeolus in Google/images,and see what you come up with.

Jan, I like "simple & effective" These things are difficult to get right, great job! The translucent lime-green stems add interest..Great post!

Did your father pass away a few weeks ago? If this is tha case, I would like to offer my sincere condolences.

I like this setting very much with the differnt shades of green. Bothe the exposure and sharpness is very good.

Thanks for posting
