Esta es la impresionante y bella Cuerda de Chincolla, en la Sierra de las Cuatro Villas. A la derecha y volcando quedan las ruinas del Castillo de Chincolla y el gran Arroyo del Chillar.

En las sierras de este Parque Natural, como en todos los bosques del mundo, de vez en cuando hay grandes incendios. Los parajes que muestran esta foto ardieron hace años y no han sido repoblados. La naturaleza por sí misma se ha ido regenerando pero todavía se pueden ver algunos ejemplates de pinos que se salvaron de aquellas llamas. Antes del gran incendio en estas cumbres el bosque era muy denso, lleno de grandes ejemplares de árboles y ahora, todo ha quedado casi desértico.

I like the framing with the pine! Compared to the rest of the landscape it is quite surprising to see a tree this big at the altitude...
Lovely lines in the rugged mountains, well composed image!

Uno de los muchos rincones de la Sierra que aun me queda por conocer.
Agreste y de dificil paso se ve esa cuerda para andarla.
