[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The genus Phylloscopus Boie, 1826:
I visited the Buffer Zone of Cyprus near Magosa (Famagusta) today. I observed some bird species and I took their photographs. One of them is this small greenish-yellow bird roosting on old iron of an old boat. It flew from Eukalyptus tree to there for probably drinking water. It was very hot. Unfortunately water of Akdeniz (Medeterranean) is very salty and also roosting point was closed to me. I identified it as Phylloscopus cf. trochilus (L., 1758).
Systematic of the genus Phylloscopus Boie, 1826 is very complex and hard. So, if you have another idea on its identification, please write me.
Fallowing ten species of this genus occur in Turkiye and several ones of them are also known from Cyprus.

** Phylloscopus inornatus Sarıkaşlı Çıvgın [TR], Yellow-browed Warbler [EN],
** Phylloscopus orientalis Doğu Çıvgını [TR], Eastern Bonelli's Warbler [EN],
** Phylloscopus sibilatrix Orman Çıvgını [TR], Wood Warbler [EN],
** Phylloscopus sindianus Kafkas Çıvgını [TR], Mountain Chiffchaff [EN],
** Phylloscopus trochiloides Yeşilimsi Söğütbülbülü [TR], Greenish Warbler [EN],
** Phylloscopus trochilus Söğütbülbülü [TR], Willow Warbler [EN].
