Dianthus cyprius A.K.Jackson et Turrill-Kıbrıs Dağ Karanfili (Endemic plant of Cyprus)
Glabrous suffruticose perennial.Branches at maturity often pendulous and curved,up to 1 m long,bearing bright green ,erect leaves and flowering stems.Stem woody below with a greyish bark.Flowers clustered ,petals pink with red flecking,tinged green at the base,fimbriate on the antical margin.Species grows on cliffs and rock faces on limestone rarely along the Northern Range especially around Kantara,Alevkayası and St. Hilarion Castle.Alt:300-1000m.Flowering time:June to November |
