Hi Bayram,

A swallow yesterday and this beautiful flower today - you are really branching out. I must admit I miss your snakes! This is a lovely pink sandflower with very unusual looking petals. Looks beautiful against the green leaves. I hope you don't mind but I did a workshop because I was so curious to see how it would look cropped. Just gives it a different look.

I personally prefer to crop the left half flower, further good sharp with beautiful colors as usual.

WoW Bayram, amazing flower, I am unsure as to what it is. I have looked at Agapanthus, Echinops, and Aliums, but can not find anything to ID. I shall look again asap.

A nice capture of this sand flowers which resembles a lot to our touchmenot flowers here in India. Only difference are the leaves. Excellent composition and details. A nice change from your regular reptile pictures. Thanks a lot for sharing.

That's a beautiful image, really nice composition, and it's very sharp. The flower is very interesting-looking, and I'm not familiar with it, the flower structure is different than anything I know of. I'd be interested to know what it is.

I would have no idea as to what the flower is but I do know that you have taken it very well..Perhaps it is a bit over exposed in the centre bloom..Maybe the flash fired?

Hi Bayram, this is a good shot, seen with good light and colour. Your depth of field is shallow putting the top of the flower in sharp focus, while muting down the base and sand somewhat. I had a look at Jane's workshop, and I think it was a good one for you, displacing the main flower off centre.

Thank you very much for your kind critique on my recent picture of a butterfly, Mr. Gocmen.
Since it is our first interaction on this site, I had had the good opportunity of looking at your prolific portfolio and also of glancing at your impressive profile.
I see you are a person of high erudition in the field of life sciences and thereby an asset for the TN community.
Having said that, I now turn to your current image of pink wild flowers.
These flowers are exotic and beautiful to look at.
Since I am a teacher of English language and literature, I admire nature mainly in terms of its beauties in shape, form and colour. I would, therefore, be of least help in identifying any flora or even fauna unless it is something familiar or learnt about here on TN through interaction with other members.
