O. fusca ssp. iricolor
A striking plant, taller with fewer fls. but larger, the lip up to 25 mm long, with the speculum an iridescent Blue. Flw. Feb-Apr. Found scattered all along the northern strip in hillside garigue , often under Ceratonia and Calycotome.
Round the north and east Medit. from Spain and Israel.
