[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Lefkoşa (Lefkosia or Lefkosha) [in Turkish] is known as Nicosia or Λευκωσία [GR] and it is interesting and beautiful city. It is not only largest city of Cyprus Island, but also the capital city of both of Northern (Turkish) and Southern (Greece) Cyprus.
Northern and Southern Lefkoşa is divided by Green Line. It is interesting that it still remains the only divided capital city in the world after West and East Berlin during years of the Cold War.

The photo was taken in Turkish portion of Lefkoşa. The water is essentially not a lake, it is only a pool of Sewage Treatment Plant. In spite of wastewater, many kind of water birds live in there. Fulica atra L., 1758 - Sakarmeke [TR], Coot [EN] on photo is one of waterfowl species prefer this area.

I also add another view of sunset in same place as a workshop. I hope you like them.

The special light creates this attractive atmosphere, a peaceful scenery well captured!
