Hi Ivan,

A nice capture although it is a bit soft due to the heavily crop and siize reduction and sharpening,but as this bird is not that often posted,it is together with the not an interesting one,we are at the moment underway to Algiers again,and about 1 hour ago an big predator on deck (probably a kind of eagle or hawk) unfortunatly a bit too dark to take some shots,but will keep my eyes open tomorrow morning as he might be still in the neighbourhood if he uses the vessel as hotel thi night,after Algiers we will make a tip from augusta to cyprus (larnaca),so maybe I have some possibbilties to go ashore overthere and make some shots,

Youi seem to have seen quite a lot of birds on Cyprus. I like the composition of this picture, the earth-colours and the wonderful thistle on which the bird is posed.The background is ideal too.
