This is a nice picture of this beautiful pair! I like their pose and composition. Details on their wings are good and so are those colors and beautiful BG. I wonder why you used a so fast shutter speed. Where you trying to catch them in-flight? :) Thanks,

Hi Ulla, A very nice shot of the two Butterflys in symmetry. They are indeed beautuful and you have captured them very well. Wbilst nice and sharp they retain their fluffy body hair and the velvety tone to the wings. Great colour and the antennai are pin sharp. Lovely pair.

Welcome back from Cyprus.
Butterfly's are not usually my comments list, not because I don't like them it is more that I don't know so much about. Nice shot of this two guys, maybe not your best but important documentary shot if they are rare.

Couldn't think of a better point of view for shooting this mating pair of Paphos Blue, Ulla.
I have already enjoyed looking at the open-wing capture of this species by Ivan. This one adds to that pleasure.
The male, apparently, is the one on the left with that blue patch on its wing.
