[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I loved the geology and rock strata in this location on the west coast of Cyprus. To the north of this region is the Akamas, one of Cyprus's last remaining wilderness areas. This is largely thanks, if that's quite the right word, to British commandos who used it for many years as a firing range.

Its relative remoteness and the lack of roads have also kept the crowds away. It is now a favourite target for hikers and there are four major hiking trails that run through the northern part of the region. It is also a major attraction for botanists with more than 600 plant species, 35 of them found only here.

Hi!
mmm, lovely shoot, great colours and composition! Water is great. Sky is a liitle bit too dark for me but the rest is great.
Cheers
Adrian

Hello Stephen,
Amazing geology. The depth and the depth of field is very pleasant to the eye. The way you displayed the sea through the long shutter speed is also well done.
Great work again...

another perfect wide angle shot i really can't do these images so how can i comment.tfs

those layers of rocks really grabbed my attention, Ilove the colors too, but those rocks are very fascinating

A fine land/seascape and a good record in geology Stephen, the exposure of the wide angle shot is perfect, relatively long exp. time produced a silky effect on the water in motion, altogether a pleasant scene to observe!
Greetings,
Mehmet

Hi Steve

Your entire series of new shots from Cyprus are fantastic but i think i like this one best from the ones you presented on TN. By the way, i checked your website and i didn't see any there...when will you upload some?
About this one, i think the long shutter works superbly and really makes those strata even more evident by smoothing anything else in the frame.
Wonderful work, my friend!

BRAVO and TFS
